I have been illustrating books, magazines and encyclopedias for some of the major European publishing houses, such as Giorgio Mondadori, Grüner und Jahr, Le Monnier, Rizzoli and Fabbri.
I have been drawing for the magazine Airone since the first issue. Over the years,
this position gave me the chance to accumulate experience not only from
a technical point of view, but also regarding the theoretical aspects of naturalistic
design. More over, I have contributed to the magazines Aqua and Focus.
Finally, Gardenia, a monthly magazine concerned with botany and gardening,
put me in charge of their covers. This assignment, that I have carried out from
January 1995 until March 2004, helped me to familiarize with botanical illustration.
